Arrived in Sydney

The journey to Sydney was not as long as I had feared probably helped by a few G&Ts on the way from Dubai but I felt OK on arrival. I got through customs in the blink of an eye with my new E-passport so it was really infuriating when my luggage was last off the plane.

I  managed to stay awake to visit Aly and Neill for dinner in the evening. It was Aly's birthday so her Mum and sister's family were also there.  It was lovely to meet them all again. Little Mia was a baby last time I saw her at the wedding but she is a real live wire now. She was in seventh heaven blowing out candles.

On Monday -another lazy day - we took Daisy for a swim at Clontarf which is one of the few areas where dogs are allowed on the beach. We enjoyed watching a young couple taking their puppy for its first swim - hilarious! It was the puppy I was watching honestly!

Went on to Manly for lunch. A heaving mass of humanity.  I couldn't believe how busy it was compared with my last visit but I suppose it is summer and everyone is on holiday.
